Dr. Lacey has been practicing plastic surgery since 1991. He also practiced as a family physician from 1984 to 1986. His practice has been in the Twin Cities since 2002 after a move from London, Ontario. Currently he is working as a staff physician at most hospitals in the East Metro area as well as being the craniofacial plastic surgeon for the Children's Hospitals in Minneapolis and St.Paul.

Dr. Lacey is active in the University of Minnesota Plastic Surgery Residency Program . He is also on the board of directors for Smile Network International, a nonprofit based in Minneapolis who goal is to bring surgical aid to children born with cleft lip and palate in developing countries. He actively participates in those missions. Dr. Lacey is also very involved with AO/ASIF as lecturer in facial trauma repair and reconstruction.

Dr. Lacey has a special interest in craniofacial reconstruction, cleft lip and palate surgery, breast reconstruction and cosmetic surgery and was voted a "Top Doctor" by Minneapolis/St.Paul Magazine.

Outside of medicine Dr. Lacey enjoys bicycle racing, downhill skiing and fly fishing. He and his wife have two teenage children looking forward to University in Minnesota.
